PROJECT 1
Generating behavioural change among fishers towards healthy practices in Ghana Fisheries.
This activity focuses on:

Exploring why fishermen and fish processors use unsafe and unhealthy fishing and smoking practices at Ekumfi Narkwa, Ghana.

Promoting and building eco and health consciousness among the fishermen and fish processors at Ekumfi Narkwa in the Central Region of Ghana.

Applying the photo elicitation method to use visual stimuli to encourage and promote healthy fishing practices.

PROJECT 2
Exploring public health risks posed by climate change and illegal mining in coastal Anlo Beach community in the Western Region of Ghana
This activity focuses on exploring and discussing with community leaders on co-creating interventions to mitigate the public health risks posed by their:

silted drinking water as a result of illegal mining.

salinated dug well water from sea water intrusion due to sea level rise.

destroyed infrastructure due to sea water flooding and shoreline loss
